Assets worth crores, including ₹2.56 crore in cash was found with Odisha government engineer Baikuntha Sarangi, who threw bundles of ₹500 notes out of his flat window during a raid on Friday. Over 1.1 kg gold and 15 imported wrist watches were also recovered. Seven high-value plots, two flats, ₹1.5-crore deposits, ₹2.7-crore investments in shares and mutual funds, were seized.
