The civil defence mock drill, mandated to be held on Wednesday, will assess effectiveness of air raid warning systems, operationalisation of radio communication with IAF and functionality of control rooms. It'll test provision of crash black-out measures, early camouflaging of vital installations and verify response of civil defence services. It'll also evaluate preparedness of evacuation plans.
