After Paetongtarn Shinawatra was dismissed as Thailand PM, Deputy premier Phumtham Wechayachai and current cabinet will oversee government in a caretaker capacity until new PM is chosen by parliament, on a date to be decided by house speaker. The constitution doesn't specify time-frame for when the lower house must convene. Shinawatra was dismissed by Constitutional Court for violation of ethics.
