On his 14-day mission on International Space Station, IAF pilot Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla will conduct seven India-specific experiments. These will examine impact of microgravity on growth of sprouts and edible microalgae, and regeneration of muscle tissue, human interaction with electronic displays in microgravity, etc. One experiment will also look at survival of tardigrades (water bears).
