Ex-Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot dismissed a strained relationship with his former deputy Sachin Pilot saying, "When were we ever far apart? We were never distant," adding that love and affection between them remain and will continue to remain. Pilot along with other Congress MLAs had revolted against Gehlot's leadership in 2020, leading to a political crisis in the state.
