On the first day of the Delhi Assembly's budget session, ex-CM Atishi, who's now the leader of opposition, held a protest outside CM Rekha Gupta's office holding placards that read "₹2,500 kab ayenge (When will ₹2,500 be disbursed)." BJP had, in their manifesto, promised to provide ₹2,500 monthly financial assistance to eligible women in Delhi.
