AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, speaking at a protest at Jantar Mantar, criticised BJP over slum demolitions in Delhi, saying, "Jahan jhuggi, wahan maidan (Where there's slum, there's a ground)." He added, "PM Narendra Modi had appealed for...votes with promises of housing...But look at what he meant- not homes...just empty grounds." Kejriwal claimed around 40 lakh people live in Delhi slums.
