New Zealand is the best country for workers looking for work-life balance, according to Remote HR platform's Global Life-Work Balance Index 2025. Ireland has ranked second, Belgium third, Germany fourth and Norway fifth, in the survey. India has ranked 42nd on the index, which ranks Nigeria, US, Egypt, Bangladesh and Ethiopia as the worst countries for work-life balance.
