Switzerland retained its top spot on the Global Innovation Index 2025, released by UN's World Intellectual Property Organization. It was followed by Sweden, US, South Korea and Singapore. Meanwhile, India has moved up to rank 38th on the index from 39th last year. India also took the top spot among lower-middle-income economies and among Central and Southern Asia nations.
