TCS CEO K Krithivasan said the company's plan to fire 12,000 employees will mostly affect staff at middle and senior levels. "At the pyramid's bottom, if somebody has been on the bench for a long period...they probably will be impacted," he said. The layoffs aren't geography specific and will not be done for any particular industry domain either, he added.
