Dharuhera in Haryana was the most polluted Indian city in October 2025 with a monthly average PM2.5 concentration of 123 g/m, a report by the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) stated. Dharuhera was followed by Rohtak, Ghaziabad, Noida, Ballabgarh, Delhi, Bhiwadi, Greater Noida, Hapur, and Gurgaon. NCR faced the worst pollution in October.
