Stubble burning's contribution to air pollution in Delhi has surged to the season's highest at 9.4% amid a major spike in fire counts in MP, Punjab, and UP on Thursday, News18 reported. A total of 1,023 fire counts were reported in six neighbouring states of Delhi. MP recorded over 354 incidents, followed by Punjab at 351 and UP at 200.
