US President Donald Trump's new $100,000 H-1B visa fee will not apply to any individual immigrant or immigrant employee(s) if their employment is in "national interest and doesn't pose a threat to security or welfare" of US. Some sectors, like healthcare, defence and security contractors, as well as AI, semiconductors, cybersecurity etc are also expected to be exempt, News18 reported.
