Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla constituted a three-member committee to probe the Justice Yashwant Varma case. The committee comprises Supreme Court Justice Aravind Kumar, who has served as Assistant Solicitor General of India, and Justice MM Shrivastava, who was appointed Chief Justice of Madras High Court in July 2025. The 93-year-old Senior Advocate BV Acharya is also a member.
