Superior Class or Category-A prisoners are usually those who hold prominent positions in social, political, educational and business spheres such as ministers, MPs, MLAs, notable industrialists. These prisoners reside in separate cells away from general prison population. They receive amenities like bed, a small table, stool, lamp, and mosquito net and are never subjected to hard physical labour.
