Rupert Murdoch's family solved succession dispute by granting his eldest son, Lachlan, control of family's media empire that includes Fox News, The WSJ and The Times in UK. His three other children–Prudence, Elisabeth and James will get $1.1-billion each for giving up their stakes and family trust rights. Children from his third marriage will remain beneficiaries of restructured family trust.
