Ukraine's new Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko is an economist and experienced technocrat who had been serving as First Deputy Prime Minister since 2021. The 39-year-old, born in Chernihiv, graduated in 2008 from the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics with a degree in antimonopoly management. She also led talks with the United States on a critical minerals deal.
