Blockchain analysis firms Elliptic and Arkham said Lazarus Group stole $1.5 billion worth of crypto from exchange Bybit in the biggest-ever crypto heist. Lazarus Group is a North Korean state-sponsored hacking collective known for exploiting security vulnerabilities to finance North Korea's regime. In 2017, Lazarus infiltrated four South Korean exchanges and stole bitcoin worth $200 million.
