BJP's vice presidential candidate CP Radhakrishnan is currently serving as Maharashtra Governor and has previously won two Lok Sabha elections from Coimbatore as a BJP candidate. The 68-year-old has been an RSS member ever since he was 16 and has worked under AB Vajpayee and LK Advani. Radhakrishnan, an ex-Tamil Nadu BJP President, has been chosen ahead of state polls.
