Indian-origin computer scientist Eshan Chattopadhyay, who won 2025 Godel Prize for his research paper on randomness extraction, did his BTech in computer science from IIT Kanpur in 2011. He later completed his PhD at the University of Texas at Austin in 2016. Eshan joined Cornell University in 2018 and became an Associate Professor in 2024.
