Amit Khare, who has been appointed Secretary to new Vice President CP Radhakrishnan, is a retired 1985-batch IAS officer of the Jharkhand cadre. He is known for his role in bringing 'fodder scam' of Bihar to light and was a key member of the team that developed and implemented the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
