Fast bowler Gurjapneet Singh, who was bought by CSK for ₹2.2 crore in IPL 2025 mega auction, was born on November 8, 1998, in Punjab's Ludhiana. Gurjapneet moved to Chennai at the age of 17 and made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu against Saurashtra in October this year. Notably, he has served as a net bowler for the CSK.
