Harsh Shringla, former Foreign Secretary and seasoned diplomat, has been nominated to Rajya Sabha by the President. A 1984-batch IFS officer, he served as Ambassador to the US, Thailand, and High Commissioner to Bangladesh, before serving as 33rd Foreign Secretary. Known as a "no nonsense" and "sharp" officer, he also led as Chief Coordinator for India's G20 Presidency in 2023.
