IAS officer Rinku Singh Rahi, who was transferred after a video of him doing sit-ups surfaced, is a 2022 batch IAS officer who first cleared UPPCS in 2004. Singh, in 2008, exposed irregularities in ₹100 crore fund meant for social welfare schemes. He was shot seven times in the face which left him blind in his right eye.
