Israr Hussain is a journalist working for Dainik Kesariya Hindustan in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. Known for his investigative reporting, he exposed alleged corruption in a road construction project. Following threats and a 'false' FIR filed against him, he and his wife attempted suicide on camera, pleading for justice from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. An investigation is underway.
