West Indies have called up Johann Layne as an injury replacement for Shamar Joseph for their upcoming India Test tour. Layne, 22, is a promising fast-bowling all-rounder from Barbados. In the previous domestic first-class season, he impressed with 27 wickets at 15.88 for West Indies Academy. Standing at over six feet, Layne can generate steep bounce.
