Justice Vijay Bishnoi, Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court, was sworn in as a Supreme Court judge on May 30, 2025. Enrolled as an advocate in 1989, he served in Rajasthan High Court before becoming a judge in 2013 and took over as Gauhati High Court Chief Justice in 2024. He practiced at the Rajasthan HC and Central Administrative Tribunal.
