Lee Fortis, who was involved in a spat with Gautam Gambhir, has been Head of Ground Staff at The Oval since 2012. Fortis previously worked as assistant head groundsman at The Oval. He also had a stint tending London's Honourable Artillery Company ground. Last year, he won his fourth ECB Grounds Manager of the Year award for best multi-day pitches.
