Assam civil services officer Nupur Bora was arrested after ₹92 lakh cash and jewellery worth nearly ₹2 crore were recovered from her residence. Bora joined the service in 2019 and was posted as a Circle Officer in Kamrup. She's been accused of land-related irregularities. She allegedly charged bribes from ₹1,500 for land maps to ₹2 lakh for altering land records.
