India Under-19 pacer Pranav Ragavendra started his career as a sprinter but later switched to cricket as his parents wanted him to play team sport. The 17-year-old had clocked 139 kmph at the age of 16 while working under former Australia bowler Glenn McGrath. Born in Vellore, Pranav played two First-Class games for Tamil Nadu in 2024, taking two wickets.
