Intel's Chief Technology and AI Officer Sachin Katti has left the chipmaker after four years to help OpenAI build the compute infrastructure for AGI. Sachin did B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay before earning his PhD in Computer Science from MIT. He co-founded a telecommunications firm in 2011 and also taught at Stanford University for over 15 years.
