Senior IPS officer Satish Golcha has been appointed as the 26th Commissioner of Delhi Police. A 1992-batch IPS officer, Golcha was serving as Director General of Tihar. He has held positions, including Special Commissioner (Intelligence) in Delhi Police and Director General of Police in Arunachal Pradesh. He served as Special CP (Law and Order) during the 2020 Northeast Delhi riots.
