Uzbekistan-born Sergio Gor, whom Donald Trump named as the next US Ambassador to India, was an activist in John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign. He also worked as Kentucky Senator Rand Paul's spokesperson before becoming chief of staff in Trump Victory Finance Committee in 2020. Gor, 38, is currently the director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office.
