VJ Joshitha, who was part of India Women U19 T20 World Cup-winning team, is first Malayali woman ever to be part of India's World Cup-winning squad. Joshitha hails from a village in Kerala's Kalpetta and was selected for Kerala Cricket Associations' Krishnagiri Cricket Academy in class six. Joshitha is currently pursuing her degree at St. Mary's College in Sulthan Bathery.
