Wazir Ram Singh Pathania was born on April 10, 1824, to the minister of Raja Veer Singh of Nurpur. He was captured in 1849 for rebelling against British and exiled to Kalapani, then Rangoon. He died on 11 November 1849, and his 176th death anniversary will be observed tomorrow in Nurpur with Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Pathania as chief guest.
