Jamaluddin alias Chhangur Baba, the mastermind of a religious conversion racket busted in Balrampur, is from UP's Rehra Mafi village. He used to sell rings and amulets on bicycle. A probe revealed that funds worth ₹106 crore have been deposited into his 40 different accounts, mainly received from the Middle East. He has many properties in several places, including Lonavala.
