Ashwin Dani, the non-executive director and second-generation head of his family-founded company Asian Paints, passed away on Thursday. The Mumbai-born executive earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mumbai and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Akron, US. He joined Asian Paints in 1968. Ashwin Dani & family's wealth stands at $7.7 billion.
