Atharva Gopal Tayde, a 16-year-old from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, was preparing for the police recruitment exam. A native of Buldhana district, he lived in Waluj. On Sunday, he died by suicide after his mother refused to buy him a mobile phone. Atharva reportedly walked to Khawda Hill in Tisgaon and jumped. He was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
