Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash aged 28 in Spain, played as forward for Liverpool and Portugal. He began professional career with Pacos de Ferreira in 2014. He joined Liverpool in 2020 and won FA Cup (2022), Carabao Cup (2022, 2024) and Premier League (2024-25). He played 49 matches for Portugal. He married Rute Cardoso on 22 June.
