The number of New Zealand citizens leaving the country has hit highest levels in 13 years. The rush to leave is due to one of the worst economic downturns since 1991 and unemployment, which reached near five-year high of 5.2% in the second quarter. People are also looking to move to neighbouring Australia and Britain due to cost of living.
