Some people wake up frequently throughout the night because of multiple reasons including stress, anxiety, drinking caffeinated drinks before bed, eating certain medications and hormonal changes, Dr Manjusha Agarwal of Gleneagles Hospital told The Indian Express. "Not having a proper sleep schedule...and using electronic devices before bed can contribute to frequent waking up at night," she added.
