Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal has entered aerospace with LAT Aerospace, co-founded with Surobhi Das. Incorporated in January 2025, the startup is developing 12-24 seat short take-off and landing (STOL) aircraft and propulsion systems to improve regional connectivity. Based in Bengaluru, LAT is hiring talent but holds no airline license, focusing on R&D aligned with India’s UDAN scheme.
