UK-based law firm Keystone Law asked Air India plane crash victims' families to seek legal advice before cremating victims' bodies in India. The firm, which launched independent investigation into the crash, said under UK law, cremated ashes "don't constitute a body". Therefore, a government autopsy won't be carried out on repatriated cremated remains, an issue the firm has experienced previously.
