Sensex ended in red on Thursday despite rising sharply to hit a high of 81,803 after falling nearly 800 points at open. This comes after US President Donald Trump announced 25% tariffs on India. "Investors gravitated toward domestically oriented, non-discretionary players...which offered attractive valuations, demand outlook and relative insulation from tariff risks," expert Vinod Nair said.
