Ukraine has not held Presidential elections, that were due in 2024, as a martial law has been imposed after Russia's invasion. The elections to the Ukrainian Parliament were due in 2023. The martial law has been extended 14 times since February 2022. Apart from barring elections, the martial law restricts the movement of private citizens and allows private property's confiscation.
