PHCs across Andhra Pradesh remained paralysed for the second day, as doctors on strike declared that they are prepared for a prolonged battle. It began as a dispute over PG seat quota has now evolved into a demand for a resolution for multiple long-pending grievances affecting over 2,800 doctors serving rural areas. The strike has affected 1,142 PHCs in AP.
