CBI named self-styled godman Ravi Shankar Ji Maharaj as accused in a nationwide medical colleges corruption scam. CBI's probe began with a Raipur medical college, of which Ravi Shankar is Chairman and where six people were arrested for allegedly accepting ₹55 lakh to issue favourable inspection report. Ravi Shankar's trust allegedly got undue favours in government schemes, projects and subsidies.
