With Israel targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, the Fordow nuclear site, a heavily shielded base buried deep beneath a mountain, is said to be difficult for Israel to destroy. The site, designed to resist airstrikes, is around 80-300 feet underground. Experts have said Israeli weapons aren't strong enough to breach Fordow's defences and might require US military assistance to do so.
