Lionel Messi’s personal bodyguard Yassine Cheuko has been suspended for the remainder of the 2025 Leagues Cup and Inter Miami CF fined an undisclosed amount following an incident of “improper conduct”. The Leagues Cup disciplinary committee issued a statement on Friday, citing Cheuko’s unauthorised entry onto the pitch to intervene in a post-game altercation between players.
