Meta is firing over 600 employees from its AI Superintelligence Labs after spending billions in a hiring spree. In an internal memo, the tech giant's chief AI officer Alexandr Wang said the cuts would make decision-making quicker, Business Insider reported. "[Due to this] each person will be more load-bearing and have more scope and impact," he reportedly wrote.
